Inspired by Gothic Tales of the 18th Century, we produce Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Rosé wines from Oregon’s Willamette Valley.  Our wines are vibrant and food driven, modeled on classic, Old-World styles of non-interventionist winemaking.

2014 Ophelia Chardonnay

Flavors of yellow pear and apple blend seamlessly with hints of oak. A lush, medium, mouth-feel is complimented by a complex texture and crisp and dry, lingering finish.

2013 Nevermore Pinot Noir

The 2013 Nevermore provides high-toned red fruits and a beautiful, elegant balance achieved by blending from our sites throughout the Willamette Valley. A light-medium bodied Pinot accented with savory notes and judicious use of just 20% new oak, this wine is delicious on it’s own, or with a myriad of cuisine.

2012 Maelstrom Pinot Noir

One third whole-cluster fruit was aged for sixteen months in French oak, of which 25% was new. A moderate ruby color leads towards aromas of red plum, black cherry and chicory. Flavors of wild red fruits, anise and sweet birch compliment a medium, elegant texture with firmness from the whole clusters. This wine is complex and layered yet slightly brighter than the 2012 Eldritch Hyland.

2013 Gothic Hyland Pinot Noir

Our own rooted, old vine fruit was entirely de-stemmed and aged for 14 months in French oak, 25% of which was new. A moderate purple-ruby color leads towards plum, black cherry and smoked blue fruits mixed with volcanic mineral and stone. Layers of ripe fruit seamlessly integrate with judicious barrel treatment, yielding a medium bodied, tactile and textured Pinot with dark, ripe fruit and balance befitting the warm growing season and unique site that is Hyland.

2012 Gothic Maresh Pinot Noir

The hallmark of our Maresh Pinot is elegance and old-world complexity. This is a warm vintage example of this wine which will age gracefully for a decade or more, or that can be enjoyed today for it’s youthful, ripe and exuberant qualities. A mix of wild red fruits, rhubarb and savory herbs are consistent flavors we find from Maresh Vineyard. malolactic and bone dry.
